Sizing That Fits Simply You

Finding your perfect press-on fit is the secret to a flawless, long-lasting set. At Simply Sasha, sizing isn’t about being “small” or “large”—it’s about what fits your natural nails comfortably & beautifully. Because everyone’s nail beds are unique, taking the time to size correctly ensures:

  • Better adhesion

  • A more natural look

  • Maximum wear time

“Preset” Vs “Custom”

Preset sizes are available for your convenience & custom sizing for the most precise fit. Preset sizes are great if you already know your nail size or typically fall into standard ranges. Keep in mind:

  • Different shapes & lengths may fit differently

  • Sizes can differ from right & left hand (and that’s normal!)

  • Multiple fingers may fit the same size (that’s also normal!)

Preset Sizes:

  • Extra Small: 3, 6, 5, 7, 9

  • Small: 2, 5, 4, 6, 9

  • Medium: 1, 5, 4, 6, 8

  • Large: 0, 4, 3, 5, 7

Size Range: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 8, 9

If you’re unsure or fall between preset sizes, custom sizing is highly recommended.

Custom Sizing (Highly Recommended):

Custom sizing is the best way to guarantee a perfect fit—especially if:

  • Your nails are wider, flatter, or vary from nail to nail

  • You want the most seamless, salon-quality look

  • You’ve never wore custom press on nails

  • You want the most secure fit to ensure long lasting wear.

Custom sets are tailored specifically for your nail beds. 

Important Sizing Notes:

  • Please do not size over acrylics, gel-x, builder gel, or any nail enhancements

  • Size on bare, natural nails only

  • Tip should sit comfortably covering nail bed side wall to side wall.

If you’re between sizes, size up, not down.

Sizing Kits

A sizing kitis the most accurate way to find your perfect press-on fit. Each kit includes nail tips in multiple sizes so you can test what fits your natural nails best before ordering.

Why We Love Sizing Kits:

  • Gives the most precise fit

  • Helps prevent lifting or popping

  • Ideal if you’re unsure of your size or between preset options

If you want press-ons that feel custom (because they are), a sizing kit is always recommended.

How to Use Your Sizing Kit:

  • Start with clean, bare nails. No gel, acrylic, press-ons, or builder products.

  • Place each sizing tip on your natural nail. The tip should sit sidewall to sidewall with no gaps.

  • Don’t force it. If a size feels tight or presses into your skin, size up.

  • Check from multiple angles. Look straight on and from the side to ensure full coverage without overhang.

  • Write down your sizes. Record the number for each finger (thumb to pinky)& hand (left & right).

Tip: Different shapes and lengths may fit differently, so always size for the shape you’re ordering.

Coin Sizing Method

If you don’t have time to wait for a sizing kit, the coin method is a great alternative. It’s quick easy and only requires a leveled surface, coin and phone. 

How It Works

  • Place a coin and hand on a flat leveled surface.

  • Take a clear, well-lit photo from a bird’s eye view. (not angled).

  • Repeat this the previous set with your thumb nail.

  • Repeat steps 2 & 3 with the opposite hand.

  • Upload or send (via email) the photos exactly as instructed.

Important Notes About Coin Sizing

  • Nails must be bare (no enhancements)

  • Photos must be clear and close-up to see both the coin and nail beds.

  • This method is accurate, but not as precise as a sizing kit

For the best results, ordering a sizing kitfirst is always highly recommended.
